Since July 1st, 2020 the amendments to the Gender Equality Act passed by the Federal Council have come into force in Switzerland. These amendments require companies with at least 100 employees to carry out the first assessment of equal pay practices at the latest by the end of June 2021.

In addition, it was stipulated that the wage equality analysis must be reviewed by an independent body and that employees and shareholders must be informed of the results of this analysis.
